When I was young, after school I would walk with my grandmother to her house, sit at her kitchen table and do my homework while Unsolved Mysteries played in the background. After I was finished we would bake. Everything from cookies to pies. The house would fill with the aroma of melted butter, caramelized sugar and baked bread. She taught me how to smell when something was finished baking instead of relying on a timer and how to measure with my heart. Ever since those days I have loved baking and hoped to devote my life to it.

As an adult I became a full time social worker and spent the majority of my life helping at risk children. I have continued to bake in the background, increasing my baking skills as I go. Although my grandmother developed Alzheimers, I baked with her as long as she could and brought her the treats I made on my own.

Here we are now, I started Kaybee Bakery to continue to do what I love. We use quality ingredients and bake with heart to provide you with a product that taste like your grandmother made it.
